As a repeat customer, we were disappointed that our unit was broken into and 1/3 of our belongings stolen. We were even more disappointed in the delay in notifying us. In addition to that, the delay in getting video footage and gate access code logs to RCMP seemed to take much longer than what we were promised. Extremely difficult to contact a head office to get answers.
Raised the rent during a pandemic with no notice! Rates are already too high and keep going up every year with no improvement to service. The staff at my local facility are friendly and helpful but the people at the head office are AWFUL!! Customers should be rewarded for being long time customers not have their rent raised with no notice, especially during a global crisis, it is completely despicable 🤬 Oh and did I happen to mention that this year when we brought our Christmas decorations home I discovered that mice had chewed though decorations that my deceased mother made! Definitely do not recommend this company at all, I can not wait to move and get my stuff out that place!
I'd give a 0 if I could! I rented a locker at the Manning Rd NE location in Calgary. I viewed the storage lockers in the bldg on the East side. When the employee took me inside everything looked kosher except for the tops of the lockers. They have a wire mesh laid on top to prevent your neighbor from breaking in & twisted pieces of wire held the mesh together. I asked the employee if anybody ever untied the wires to break into the neighbors units & he laughed & said No! So even though it didnt feel secure I rented a locker. I started coming & going to my locker exchanging clothing & jewelry to wear because I rented a room & put most of my belongings in storage. Things started going missing & I thought I was losing my mind. My laundry soap on the floor was crushed one day and It looked like it had been stepped on. Finally I took a weekend & went through all my boxes & bags.... that's when I realized a lot of my things were missing! I made the mistake of leaving packing tape & scissors out so whoever had gone through my boxes easily sealed them back up. I thought maybe somebody got ahold of my gate code & spare lock key so I got a copy of everytime my locker door had been opened with the dates & times. Thank God I kept a diary so everytime my locker door had been opened it was ME! That's when I figured out somebody was breaking in the top of my locker. After hours the only 2 ppl on site lived there and there were No cameras inside that bldg so who do you think broke in? I'll be getting ahold of the manager to complain. I was screwed because my Insurance did not cover Theft!!!! Be careful of those Units ppl & make sure you have a proper roof on your locker!
So not happy with this company. Wanted to view the storage unit that we inquired about but the lady said she was too busy when it was only her and another worker in building. Also misleading on the unit that it wasn’t there but in a older unit in another area a few blocks away. Had to pay $25 for a file, $16 for insurance and had to buy locks. We just wanted to view at this time since we didn’t need it for the next month. Our plans changed and we didn’t need to rent unit After all so went back the next day for a refund and they wouldn’t give us one. We call the number to get in touch with the regional manager to contact us ,,,,what a joke never did call us.
Will not ever recommend this place also renters shop around get more for your money . Spruce Grove location!
Black Diamond, AB location is awesome. Easy as through the gate, open the unit, load/unload, and lock it. Are they good?? Yes, like when I locked the unit open. My cell rang and Michelle informed me that during routine check, our unit was indeed open with the lock locked. Conveniently located beside the best car/truck wash and Tim Hortons and next to all-your-needs Rona with popcorn- “Its All Good”.

My wife and I had storage spaces for five years while we were overseas working. I made three visits when I was back in the area and had awesome assistance trying to gain access to my areas to either organize, move or sell stuff. The staff are all awesome, Tracy goes the extra mile everytime.

The facility is not bad, staff is friendly and helpful but the rate is always going up and never see it going down or staying the same. I think if there is no discount for long-term renters or at least keep the rate stable for a certain period in stead of increasing every half year.
No issues with these guys, convenient location and access. Would be nice if it were less expensive though.

Have been renting a unit for almost five years. Never missed a payment. By all measures, we are excellent customers, yet our rent increases by more than 10% a year! So much for rewarding loyal customers. Can’t wait to get out of there!
The Sentinel Storage just outside Stouffville is a terrific facility. The proprietors are very friendly and dedicated to offering customers the best experience possible. The whole building is very clean and tidy. The elevators are spacious and robust.
We have no reservations recommending this place to anyone in need of temporary storage of belongings.
One of the main bay doors with mechanical door stopped functioning over a month ago and nothing is being done. They just keep saying ‘we put in a request’. Without this door it makes loading and unloading large loads difficult, particularly in the evenings.
They use a tricky payment scheme that bills every 28 days rather than once a month. So, basically, you end up pay for an extra 2-3 days every month which basically means in a year you end up paying an extra month.
I always know that my items are safe and protected.
